A Place to Serve – Preschool

From people who love to organize to the creative types, if you have time, we have something for you to do!  Projects range from cutting out VBS supplies, to organizing weekly lesson materials,  to creating bulletin boards.   If you have even a couple hours here and there during the year, we’d love your help.  Some work can be done at home and other work needs to be organized directly at church.

The teacher will read the written lesson ahead of time and be prepared to lead class time with the lesson and materials provided. This can be done during the Sunday school hour or during the worship service, as we provide lessons during both. Would prefer to have someone willing to teach once every third week or more frequently, as the little ones need consistency to feel comfortable and love caring relationships. Teachers are people with a living faith in Jesus and a love for kids. A background check is required.

Vacation Bible School is a celebration that kids, parents, and youth alike look forward to all year long, and for good reason!  It’s a time to learn in depth about Jesus and have lots of fun doing so.  You can use your gifts at VBS in a variety of ways: crew leader (small group leader for children), Bible Adventure teacher, crafts, snacks, providing hospitality to volunteers, set design and more.  If you want to help, there’s a spot for you. 

It’s a time for preschoolers to enjoy a morning celebrating Jesus' birth and have lots of fun doing so with a special friend. You can use your gifts in a variety of ways: server for breakfast, craft design, craft room coordinator, men’s angel choir, Mary or Joseph, and more. If you want to help, there’s a spot for you on this beautiful morning!

Come help plan and organize a couple of “art days” during the summer for preschoolers. This is a new program and I (Melinda) am open to any and all suggestions for some fun summertime “artivities”.

Would like to schedule a day in July and one in August where the children come with a parent and enjoy a couple of hours together. I will need a lead person and a couple of volunteers to help out!
