God has called us to serve and build His Kingdom not only in the present but also for future generations. Through legacy giving, you can leave a lasting impact on the lives of others, advance the work of the Gospel, and support transformational ministries both now and in the future.
About Legacy Giving
Legacy Gifts…
- May be given both in your lifetime and/or through your will after death.
- Are separate from annual tithes and offerings which are used for current ministries and operations of the church.
- May include Memorial Fund gifts to honor a family member or loved ones.
- Are normally financial gifts, but other gifts such as real estate may be considered.
- Generally flow into the church’s endowment or reserve funds and are used for kingdom-building purposes under the guidance of pastors and session.
- Are seen as a continuation of our stewardship practices and beliefs exhibited during our lifetime.
Getting Started
- Prayerfully consider making a gift that honors past, present and future generations of people who enter our doors for worship and a relationship with Jesus.
- Contact our business administrator, Ron Britt, or one of our pastors to discuss ways to give or other ideas.
- Consult with an estate planning attorney and/or a professional financial advisor.
End of Life Documents
As faithful stewards, we are encouraged to leave our earthly gifts in good order for those who will care for them. If you have not addressed this already, talking to a professional about these documents will be a gift.
