Do you like organizing things? If so, this is the job for you. We need one or two folks who will monitor the supplies in all our adult Sunday school classes, including name tags, Keurig supplies, and the like. Name Tags and coffee are an important part of ministry - it connects people and lets them know they are welcome.
There are many opportunities to be involved in ministry with and for men. There are needs for leaders in our weekly bible studies – teachers, small group leaders, facilitators, and more. We often plan one-off events during the year that need organizers and planners. We have a range of activities that men can participate in, such as fishing, golf, and softball. We are always looking for men to help lead in these and to start new ones as they are led. These are opportunities for men to engage with one another in fun ways that can lead to closer relationships in Christ.
Women’s Bible Study (WBS) meets on Thursdays, 9:30-11:30am, September through April. It takes a host of people to make WBS including greeters, discussion group facilitators, worship leaders, people to run slides and sound, teachers, curriculum writers and (of course!) people to purchase and refill snacks. If you are interested in any of these, we’d love to know!
Sunday school is one of the ways we encourage people to Equip One Another in Discipleship. In Sunday school, small to large groups of people gather for the purpose of studying Scripture or spiritual life in-depth, in community. Each semester (Fall; Winter/Spring; Summer), we offer short-term Sunday school classes that last 6 to 12 weeks. If you feel the tug to teach, or have a spiritual life subject you are passionate about, we’d love to talk to you! Teachers have an abiding and growing faith in Jesus and have gifts to teach and connect with others.
Small groups are one of the ways we want to encourage people to Equip One Another in Discipleship. In small groups, people gather with the purpose of being formed in Christ-likeness together for the sake of others. Ideally, small groups meet 3 times a month, September through June, and meet occasionally during the summer. Initial training is provided, along with ongoing encouragement from our small group coaches.
The purpose of each of our retreats is to provide people with the opportunity to pull away (retreat!) from their normal routines in order to encounter God in worship and equip one another in discipleship, both with more focus and depth. The Women’s Retreat has the additional purpose of forming community with women. It takes a team of people to make the retreat a possibility including: greeters, buddies for 1st timers, game/activity planners, hospitality volunteers, and a leadership team.

The All-Church Retreat (ACR) has the added bonus of celebrating intergenerational community. It takes a team of people to make the retreat a possibility including: greeters, buddies for 1st timers, Elementary leaders, Youth leaders, game/activity planners, and a leadership team.
