Winston-Salem Fellows

The program is an intensely practical ten-month experience designed to help young adults successfully bridge the transition from college to career as men and women prepared to live lives of passion and purpose. We are excited to welcome three Winston-Salem Fellows to First Pres!

Greg McClinton is a Winston-Salem native. His first love is basketball and would have likely turned it into a career had not he suffered not one, not two, but three ACL tears. Nevertheless he played at Wake Forest and eventually transferred to Old Dominion where he graduated. He will be an instant hit at First Pres. and at 6’7″ he will be hard to miss! He will be living with Peter Barnes this year. He is working with a fundraising company called Boosterthon.

Reiley Burris is from Matthews, NC (near Charlotte). She attended UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated as a health and exercise science major. She loves playing and coaching volleyball and is in pretty much every way a true delight. This year she will be working at Crosby Scholars. We are still searching for a permanent home for her.

Hannah Blaine is from Lexington, SC (near Columbia). She went to Clemson University and plans to go to Occupational Therapy School after the Fellows year is over. She is a total rock star. This year she is working at ABC of NC, a school for children on the Autism spectrum.
