Dear First Presbyterian Family,

We seek to be a church of transformation. Our annual season of stewardship provides us with an opportunity to experience a Life Transformed.

By any global standard, each of us is “rich in this world.” In 1 Timothy, Paul teaches us to use our resources in a way that helps people, to get personally involved in doing good deeds, and to be generous in our giving.

Along with these commands, Paul shares with us the great result from this generous living. Living generously frees us from relying on material wealth and focuses us on spiritual wealth, redeeming the temporary of this world for the eternal. As this happens, we experience “true life” through sharing. This is God’s promise of a life transformed.

Please prayerfully consider how you can commit your time and resources to the ministries of our church. Our prayer is that in doing so we each experience our own transformation through God’s work in our life.

It will take all of us to be a transforming church. Please plan to pledge your support by Anniversary Sunday, October 26th.

In Christ,
