We have a vital music ministry that not only provides leadership in our worship services, but also provides a community of support and encouragement for those who desire to use their musical gifts in ministry. This ensemble leads our congregation in worship in the Contemporary Service on Sunday mornings at 11:00am with a rehearsal during the week on Thursday evening. There are opportunities for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers/percussionists, and vocalists all of an intermediate to advanced ability. The singers and instrumentalists of the worship team lead in the contemporary service, serving on a rotating basis. Led by worship leader Cindy Johnson. The choir leads in worship in the 11:00 Sanctuary service and presents special performances and services at Christmas and Holy Week. Led by Michael Dodds. The adult hand bell ensemble presents preludes and accompanies the choir in the Sanctuary service several times throughout the year. Led by Elizabeth Moyer. Sontones - The bell ensemble for grades 3-5 presents special music two or three times a year. Rehearses Wednesday evenings. Led by Jenny Lawrence.
Our tech crews run sound, audio/visual equipment, lights, and cameras. Led by Rachel Lewis. These dancers, actors, script writers, set builders, and other creative artists contribute to services in both venues but primarily the contemporary service. Led by Rachel Lewis. This ministry provides the first impressions of our church to visitors. They include everyone from the parking attendants to the ushers, greeters, info center hosts and fellowship hosts. |
