
Adult Sunday School Classes at First Presbyterian
SUMMER 2010 CLASSES All classes meet Sundays 10:00-10:45am Eagle's Wings (Fellowship Hall) +Teachers: Jim Johnson and Joe Moore + Format: Class of diverse ages which opens with worship and prayer, followed by Bible teaching in lecture format. An emphasis is placed on community (shared worship with mutual prayer and support) along with biblical study. all stages of the spiritual journey. Students of the Word (A-208)
+ Format: A prepared facilitator guides discussion and application of Scripture text. more. Covenant Class (A-211) + Facilitator: Sam Blythe + Format: Guest teachers are invited to share with the class using various formats. Younger Adults (A-216)
+ Participants: All younger adults are encouraged to come to this new class! Not sure if you fit the "younger adult" category? There is only one guideline we are using to define young adult. If you call yourself a young adult then you are! We don't place emphasis on age, marital status, kids/no kids, or family situation. + Facilitator: Andrea Eller + Format: Each participant may study the selected text during the week to engage in small-group discussion on Sunday, led by rotating facilitators from the class.
