1st Serve is a community service day for volunteers to help organizations and schools in need in Downtown Winston-Salem.

Check back for 2018 Date!

  • Saturday morning will kick off with Praise and Worship in 1st Pres Fellowship Hall at 8:15 am. The work day will be from 9:00 am – noon.  Your project leaders will dismiss you!
  • Lunch will be all together back in the Fellowship Hall at noon. Feel free to invite any members of the downtown communities to join us for pizza!

Let’s all get together, meet our neighbors and work together to help those in need and to make Winston-Salem an even better community!

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.  We have projects for men, women, youth, and elementary ages, and anyone is welcome to help – member, non-member, neighbors, friends, visitors – Please Come!

Overflow Shelter Cleaning

Clean up from the overflow shelter season: clean out bins, sterilize mats, break down the Fellowship Hall, transport items off site.
